Gelatin Base is a ready-made base that saves time when compounding gelatin troches and gummies. Gelatin Base has the texture of a gummy bear making it a good alternative troche base for paediatrics.

With a water activity of less than 0.6 (aw < 0.6), this base is classified as anhydrous. Compounders can now assign default expiry dates of 180 days as per current APF guidelines!
