SyrSpend® SF (pH4) Dry Suspension Vehicle
SyrSpend®SF pH4 dry is a suspending base for reconstitution to compound elegant oral liquid dosage forms with a pleasant taste. Available in a validated, graduated dispensing container, allowing for an easy three-step compounding process directly into the dispensing container. This unique vehicle uses an active suspending technology to offer more accurate dosing by stabilising the suspension at rest and actively preventing caking of insoluble ingredients at the bottom of the bottle.
SyrSpend® SF pH4 Dry is free of sugars, alcohol, parabens, sorbitol, gluten, colourants and preservatives. It has low osmolality (<50 mOsmol/kg), making it gastrointestinal-friendly. SyrSpend® SF pH4 liquid is compatible with a broad range of active pharmaceutical ingredients. SyrSpend® SF PH4 dry is preservative-free and therefore safe to use in the treatment of vulnerable patient groups.
NB: Please note that SyrSpend pH4 DRY 100ml has been replaced with SyrSpend pH4 NEO (Dry) 100ml.
Pack sizes
- The 60ml pack comes in a pre-measured bottle containing 2.1g of powder, ready for reconstitution directly in the bottle.
- The 120ml pack comes in a pre-measured bottle containing 6.3g of powder, ready for reconstitution directly in the bottle.
- The 500g pack is a bulk powder.
